Travel and Exchange Awards

ERAB: The European Foundation for Alcohol Research is anxious to encourage high quality young researchers (under age 35) from the European Union who are undertaking research into the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of consumption of alcoholic drinks.

To promote this aim it is offering:

1. Travel awards for young researchers to attend  and present data at conferences. The maximum awards are €750 for conferences within Europe and €1,500 for conferences outside Europe. A maximum of 6 are awarded per annum.
2. Funding for exchange visits for young researchers working in the field of alcohol research to visit centres of excellence. The maximum award is €2,500 and a maximum of 6 are awarded per annum.
3. Funding towards printing costs for PhD theses regarding research into the biomedical and psychosocial aspects of consumption of alcoholic drinks. The maximum award is €1,500.

Applications are considered twice each year (Spring and Autumn).
