Underage drinking in Europe and North America
"Underage drinking in Europe and North America" is a report which has been written by experts in Europe and North America with support from ERAB: The European Foundation for Alcohol Research and ABMRF / The Foundation for Alcohol Research which is based in the USA. Both foundations have charitable status and fund independent research into the effects of alcohol and health. Both are funded by but independent from the brewing sector. ABMRF was founded in 1982 and ERAB in 2003.
The Report which has been subject to peer review, has examined the evidence concerning initiatives to reduce the consumption of alcoholic drinks in youth in both Europe and North America and makes recommendations based on what has been shown to be effective.
It will be launched in room PHS 7 C 50 in the European Parliament in Brussels on Tuesday 27th November starting at 10.30am.

Although the start is 10.30am you are asked to arrive by 10.00 in order to pass through security.

New Publications Award
ERAB is pleased to announce the addition of another award to add to those currently available to acknowledge the outstanding scientific contribution made by some of its grantees.
This award is for any former ERAB grantees who have had five or more papers, of three or more pages, published in peer reviewed journals with an acknowledgement of the funding received from ERAB.
This award is payable to the grantee in person.
